I don’t know about you, but I could definitely use some sort of relaxing, private, unplugged getaway. So, I went on Airbnb to see if I could find the kind of place I was looking for that wasn’t too far from the Tristate area, and I found the perfect spot.
It’s a cliffside cabin on 50 acres and it’s calling me.
The cabin is located in Zoe, Kentucky, the Airbnb host describes the cabin like this,
Dappled Light Adventures Cabin is located on 50 private acres of the Daniel Boone National Forest; you will have full access to hike and explore. Plus, it’s less than 20 minutes from lots of fun activities (hiking, climbing, etc.)! We pride ourselves on providing you with a luxurious and comfortable space to unplug, reconnect with the natural world and rejuvenate.
This Airbnb Tristate looks like an amazing and unique experience. According to one guest, you should book a stay here while you can because when everyone knows about this hidden gem near the Danial Boone Nation Forest, there will be a very long waiting list.
One of the most relaxing places I’ve been to. The view is epic!
It’s a complex that will be written about in the magazines one day…see it before the crowds do. – Guest review – Robert

As soon as I saw this place, I was filled with peace. Every detail and color used is meant to help you relax and unwind. Can’t wait to visit.
Great fun to hang out with friends if you want an off grid experience! The views are gorgeous and the vibes are impeccable. -Alice/Guest Review
You can’t beat the location! Not only is it close to everything the area has to offer, activities, trails, parks, restaurants, gas stations, and even a beer store, it’s perched on top of a precipice where you can enjoy dinner by the fire while watching the sunset. – Jennifer/Guest Comment
You will have a beautiful living space with space to sip your coffee or eat a meal while watching the sun slowly rise and set over the valley. Our favorite time of day is when the nighttime mist dissolves as the sun rises. – Izaac/Host
There is a queen bed and a twin bed located in the loft for you to use, as well as a sofa that folds out into a double bed, kitchen and bathroom for your convenience! – Izaac/Host
The back wall of the cabin is mostly windows that allow you to look a few hundred yards into another part of the Daniel Boone National Forest. – Izaac/Host
Our cabin was handcrafted by a local builder from roughly hewn oak and pine. The interior is warm, inviting and breathable, with a view that can’t be beat. – Izaac/Host
In the evening, after spending the day exploring the National Forest, descend near the edge of the cliff and enjoy a small campfire while watching the sunset. – Izaac/Host
Look at the view in the fall. This would be the perfect time to say in the cabin.
Winter looks amazing too. Can you imagine a vacation visit to this cabin? It would be so romantic, like something out of a Hallmark Christmas movie.
The view during the summer isn’t too shabby either.
